This morning I pushed up a small but significant redesign — more a typographical realignment — of Catriona’s blog, Circulating Library. I used TypeKit’s hosted typeface service to provide the typography, enhancing the neo-Victorian feel of the design. I’ve also (sparingly) used CSS3 shadow effects, so use a modern web browser to get the most out of the design. Versions of Internet Explorer before 9 are not considered “modern”, of course.

Massive and fantastic news. Typekit is still working on its business model and I think the option of buying a font licence direct from a seller and managing it through Typekit is going to be a winner.
